WHERE TO SOW 
February and March sowings direct into soil in cold frame or under cloches. Later sowings in open ground, sow in shallow drills about 1cm deep in rows 25cm apart. 
WHAT TO DO NEXT 
Thin out seedlings as they grow to final spacing of 15cm. 
MATURITY 
Three or four weeks from sowing. 
HANDY TIP 
Pick leaves regularly as plants will quickly run to seed. Sow in small plots each month to ensure continuous supply of leaves.
